What is your spiritual game plan for 2016? In order words, what intentional steps will you take to grow spiritual this year?
It has been said that, “He who fails to plan, plans to fail.” When it comes to our spiritual lives if we do not have an intentional plan for spiritual growth we will be powerless, hopeless, and empty.
However, if you make pointed decisions now to live the victorious life then you will find the power, courage, and fulfillment that you always wanted.

Key Text: Mark 3: 14,15
Let’s Develop your Spiritual Game Plan
1. Have a Prayer Plan
Do you have a time when you regularly/daily commune with God in prayer?
@@“The object of prayer is simply not to get “hooked-up” by God (material things), but to be transformed in His presence.” – Dr William J Lee@@
Read: Mark 1:35; Proverbs 8:17
Note: Don’t worry about the quantity of time spent as much as the quality of time spent with God.
2. Have a Bible Study Plan
Spiritual growth happens as you spend time in the Word of God.
Note: A good place to begin Bible Study is the Sabbath School Quarterly.
Read: Psalms 119:105; Amos 8:11; Matthew 4:4; Hebrews 4:12
3. Have a Church Attendance Plan
Determine that church attendance is just as if not more important then your job/school attendance. Make a covenant to give God the best of your time and energy.
Read: Romans 10:17; Hebrews 10:25; Mark 2:4
4. Have a Witnessing Plan
God has called you to share your faith with others. The main reason why the “Dead Sea” has its name is because it has no outlets. Ask God to help you share the love of God with at least one person per week.
Read: Isaiah 43:10-12; Revelation 12:11
5. Have a service plan and a giving plan
Join a ministry at Capitol City Seventh-day Adventist Church and/or work in the community. Spiritual growth escalates as you work for the Lord.
Read: Matthew 5:13-16; Luke 6:38
A relationship with God is the most important relationship you can ever have. Embrace it every day.
